We Need your Support!

The AFS Tennessee Chapter Needs You!

We all know that 2020 was a rough year, and we are molding a great year in 2021 with your help! Your contributions help us continue to further the interests of the industry, such as monthly technical sessions, annual scholarships, helping to fund foundry programs in schools and Foundry in a Box. Below is a list of some of the things we achieved last year:

    • Donated a Foundry in a Box to Dade Country High School and provided several demonstrations.
    • Held technical meetings virtually, which have been recorded for you to view at your leisure.
    • Created another scholarship to honor the life of TTU Professor William Lewis.
    •  Organized the 2020 Southeast Regional held in Chattanooga, TN!
    •  Maintained the Chapter’s website with growing technical information for foundry men and women.
    •  Held our first sporting clay competition.

This 2021-2022 year we will begin our Technical Sessions in “Virtual Mode” whereas we will be transmitting via Microsoft Teams every month throughout the year until such time as we are allowed to gather at the Mountain City Club. In addition, we will be targeting events for the comradely of our chapter. For example, the chapter’s Golf Tournament will be October 16th at Moccasin Bend Golf Club in the Scenic City of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
